keychain

ID keychain card
• Only contains a fixed and unchangeable ID number, no storage function, low frequency 125kHz/134.2kHz, slightly longer reading distance
• Features: low cost, fast reading, general security (easy to replicate)
• Applicable to: low security requirements scenarios such as basic access control in residential areas, parking lot access, and simple attendance tracking
M1 keychain card
• Equipped with an embedded encryption chip, operating at a high frequency of 13.56MHz, it supports data storage, reading, writing, and encryption operations, with a storage capacity ranging from 1KB to 8KB
• Features: High security, rich functionality, and the ability to use one card for multiple purposes (access control + consumption + attendance)
• Applicable to: high-end access control, elevators, campus/park one-card systems, venue stored-value consumption, financial-grade lightweight applications, and other scenarios
1. Appearance and material: Regularly available in colors such as blue, yellow, black, and red, it can be customized with silk-screen icons/jet-printed codes. The main shapes are water droplet-shaped and square, making it convenient to hang on a keychain;
2. Protective performance: waterproof, dustproof, shock-resistant, and suitable for operating temperatures ranging from **-10℃ to +50℃**;
3. Card reading specifications: The standard reading distance for a card reader is 5-15cm. Due to size constraints, the actual sensing distance for a keychain card is 1-3cm, while that for an ID card is slightly longer than that for an M1 card.

Description

Keychain cards are special-shaped proximity cards utilizing RFID technology. They are encased in ABS, feature an embedded chip and coil, and are crafted through epoxy resin encapsulation and ultrasonic welding. These compact and wear-resistant cards are extensively utilized in various scenarios such as access control, elevators, attendance tracking, venue purchases, and vehicle sensing. They primarily fall into two categories: ID keychain cards and M1 keychain cards, with the addition of replicable CUID universal keychain cards.
1. Core classification and applicable scenarios
ID keychain card
• It only contains a fixed, non-editable ID number, with no storage function. It operates at a low frequency of 125kHz/134.2kHz and has a slightly longer reading distance
• Features: low cost, fast reading, average security (easy to duplicate)
• Applicable to: low security requirements scenarios such as basic access control in residential areas, parking lot access, and simple attendance tracking
M1 keychain card
• Equipped with an internal encryption chip, operating at a high frequency of 13.56MHz, it supports data storage, reading, writing, and encryption operations, with a storage capacity ranging from 1KB to 8KB
• Features: High security, rich functionality, and the ability to use one card for multiple purposes (access control + consumption + attendance)
• Applicable to: high-end access control, elevators, campus/park smart cards, venue stored-value consumption, financial-grade lightweight applications, and other scenarios
CUID Universal Keychain Card
• Programmable blank proximity card, supporting M1/ID card information replication, is a “universal replacement card”
• Applicability: Personal use scenarios that require integration of multiple cards (access control/elevator/door lock), where encrypted CPU cards cannot be duplicated
II. Basic usage method
Conventional prefabricated keychain cards (access control/consumption/attendance)
1. The management party (property management/venue/company) is responsible for completing the information writing and activation process. Cards that have not been activated cannot be used;
2. When using, place the front of the card directly facing the card reader and slowly approach within a distance of 1-3cm, avoiding rapid side-to-side swiping;
3. Venue consumption cards should be settled/returned according to the management’s rules, and access/elevator cards can be used after successful swiping and sensing.
Vehicle proximity key fob
1. The keyless entry function requires the keychain to be placed within 1.2 meters of the vehicle sensor. There is no need to take it out; simply holding it close to the car door will unlock it;
2. The remote control function allows for operations such as locking/unlocking/starting the vehicle by pressing the corresponding buttons within a reasonable distance.
III. Basic characteristics of the product
1. Appearance and material: Regularly available in colors such as blue/yellow/black/red, customizable with silk-screen icons/jet-printing, mainly in waterdrop shape/square shape, convenient for hanging on keychains;
2. Protective performance: waterproof, dustproof, shock-resistant, and suitable for operating temperatures ranging from **-10℃ to +50℃**;
3. Card reading specifications: The standard reading distance for a card reader is 5-15cm. Due to size constraints, the actual sensing distance for a keychain card is 1-3cm, while the ID card has a slightly longer reading distance than the M1 card.
IV. Important precautions for use
1. Usage instructions: Avoid stacking multiple keychain cards of the same frequency band for use, as they may interfere with each other, resulting in card reading failure; do not wrap the cards with metal accessories, as they may shield the radio frequency signal.
2. Device compatibility: If the card reader only supports 125kHz low frequency, only ID cards can be used; if it supports 13.56MHz high frequency, M1 cards are preferred, and compatibility needs to be confirmed for older systems.
3. Security Guidelines: CUID cards can only be duplicated under the owner’s name, and duplication of others’ cards is prohibited to avoid legal risks; it is recommended to retain the original important cards and make proper data backups.
4. Environmental taboos: Do not expose the card to high-intensity electromagnetic radiation, and avoid proximity to high-temperature or strong magnetic environments; do not store vehicle key fob cards in the center console, door storage boxes, or other locations, as this may prevent the vehicle from being detected.
5. Equipment installation: Do not install the card reader on a metal surface, as it will significantly reduce the reading distance; the distance between two card readers should be kept at least 25cm to avoid mutual interference.
