Description
A contact CPU card is a smart card that completes data interaction through physical contact between metal contacts and a reader-writer device. It complies with the ISO/IEC 7816 standard, has a built-in microprocessor and COS, and offers security and processing capabilities that far surpass ordinary logical encryption cards.

• Hardware: CPU + RAM (cache) + ROM (firmware) + EEPROM (data storage, typically 8K–64K) + encryption coprocessor (DES/3DES/RSA/AES).
• Software: Chip-embedded Operating System (COS), responsible for security management, command parsing, file system, and cryptographic operations.
• Physical interface: Typically, it has 8 gold-plated contacts, including VCC, GND, I/O (data), RST (reset), CLK (clock), etc.
